time for my obligatory FFXII post,
i really thought this game would be a big let down as far as story and gameplay go. but im really amazed, this has turned out probably to be one of the best...
not only are the graphics stunning, but the world, the enviroment and depth of detail i spretty crazy. the story is pretty intense and well written. and probably the most astonishing thing...probably the best rpg voice acting ever. the voices are very natural sounding and fit the characters very well. the battle system is a big surprise since im not a fan of the mmorpg style battles, but the gambit system is really great and very intrigueing.
basically this game turned out to be one of the most surprising games ive seen

Hey guys. I know i havent had a real LJ post in forever. but there hasnt been much to post on.
I moved in to my new apt a month ago and lifes been pretty easy. no summer school for me this year, but i think i will the next couple of years so im gonna enjoy it.
All ive been doin nowadays is go to work at my school's parking. really easy job. i just sit there and mess around with my psp, read a book or go online with the computer.
at home all we day lately is just play WoW and other games or just watch stuff i download like family guy. and of course smoke out like every night.
last weekend was real chill when Nancy, James and Ryan came up. it was ages since i saw those guys. we had good times listening to pink floyd and just catchin up on the times.
aside from that there aint that much to do. I go to the golf range every now and then since we live right in front of one and i also go to the boomers thats right next door every so often when they have free play days on tues, weds and thurs. i just go and play some 3rd strike and i saw that they got the new ddr there last thrus. i havent gotten to try it out yet. I just wish they had a drummania.
having your own place is great, it just sucks that most people i know went home for the summer. I hope once schools back in session we can throw a small party or sumthin. and all you guys back up at home need to come down and visit sometimes. i havent seen most of you guys in over a year.
anyway, thats whats been up lately. nothing much else to report. I'll be back up in like a month. hopefully i'll get to see a lot of you guys.

Their shits good, i definately like matisyahu now. Not too mention their songs are pretty fun to play on my bass (OH EM GEE!!! BASS LINES IN MAINSTREAM MUSIC!!!) I mean, the bass lines are nothing special i was able to figure out most of the bass parts for their songs by ear. But its more of the fact that they make songs where the bassist aint just playing the root note the whole time. Also, they have kick ass guitar solo's. the guitarist actually plays creative, soulful kick ass solo's. anyway, yah, their definately a good reggae band. Bob Marley is obviously still better but its nice to know that a band like matisyahu is becoming known.

As humans, we are blessed with many gifts at cognative talents. I think one of the greatest inventions ever is the creation of Music. music is me, music has always defined me. I love music too much and it saddens me how some peope are so naive and ignorant on just how great the ability create music is. I know that one day they'll all come around also view it like i do. unfortunately that time comes way too late in most peoples lives. I just hope and pray that todays youth can see music's power.

that mother fucker not only is cocky ass idiot who has no talent what so ever, but he has the fucking nerve to take a great song from a great man, ray charles, and say that Gold digger is a masterpiece of music.
he ripped the song "I Got A Women" by Ray Charles butchered the original lyrics by replacing the lyrics with the complete opposite of the original lyrics to produce his fucking abomination calld fucking gold digger. im not even gonna bother quoting it cuz its not a song. now, look at the lyrics of the original song then look at the lyrics of his shit.

the original song is about a good women. a women who is deserving nice and takes care of the person. now, the douche bag west takes this song, and turn it around about a women thats only in it for the money. I mean come on, there is a line in the original song that says
"she gives me money"
that line alone is the complete opposite of golddigger. That is a fucking huge insult to the great Ray Charles. The only reason he was able to even make that song was because Ray Charles dies. is that not fucked up to take some one elses master piece to create your crap after someone past away, especially a great man like ray charles.
then he has the balls to call himself a fucking musician, he is not a musician he is a scam. of course, Jamie foxx is a douche to for endorsing that crap song when he was one of the final people to meet Ray Charles.
HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT IS NOT FUCKED UP...KANYE WAST MAKES ME SICK.
WHY!? why do endorse such shit. i can understand teenagers buying his shit because "it sounds cool". but is it really music. does it really deserve a grammy, a symbol of musicians and their accomplishments. does a song talking about a skank intrested in only money deserve that. why do we encourage it.
and im not saying its crap cuz its rap, there are a shit load of more rap and hip-hop music out there that has a purpose. those people should be getting the grammy, not this douche bag.
